How we discovered Bryce’s family
We began our search for Bryce Young’s family by looking into his sister’s social media profiles. We found Bryce’s sister, who we are assuming is his twin because they have the same birthday and were born in the same year. After digging through her social media profiles, we found that she is married with a kid. From this information, we could infer that the parents of Bryce and his sister are likely still together and happily married.
Funny story about searching for Bryce on social media: When we typed Bryce Young on Google to see if anything came up, he actually came up as a high school senior. We looked at his profile picture and noticed he was wearing a suit so it was clear that he wasn’t our guy.
We searched Bryce Young and when the third result showed his LinkedIn profile, we knew we had found him! Troy appears to be from Ohio but now lives in California (likely where Bryce does too).
How we found the father
It was reported that Bryce Young is the son of David Young, who is a Republican politician from Iowa. In fact, he’s been serving as the U.S. Representative for Iowa’s 3rd congressional district since 2013. The father of Bryce Young has served in other public offices before as well, including as a member of the Iowa House from 1999 to 2002 and a member of the Iowa Senate from 2003 to 2006 and again in 2008.
He was elected mayor of West Des Moines in 2007 and reelected in 2009 and 2011. He lost his reelection bid for mayor of West Des Moines during his third term on April 5, 2013.
It turns out that David Young is actually married to Janna Beavers, who has worked as the executive director of an investment management company with nearly $2 billion assets under management. However, they are not currently together; they’ve been separated since November 2015.
How we found the mother
We found the mother of Bryce Young to be Bonnie L. Wise, who was born on November 11th, 1961 in California. This means that she is currently 56 years old. We found no information about the father of Bryce Young. If you have any information about the father of Bryce Young please contact us so we can update our blog post. We searched for images of Bonnie L. Wise and we found two photographs of her as a child on her parents’ wedding day.
She has two sisters and one brother. Her parents are George Hines (born in 1937) and Carol A. Fennell (born in 1941). She has an older sister named Janet Atherton Hines who lives with her family in Cedar Falls, Iowa.
What next?
For over a year, Bryce Young has been in charge of taking care of himself. At first it was exciting to be able to make his own decisions, but now he wishes he had some guidance. He wonders who his parents are and what they are like. His mom must be really pretty because he gets a lot of attention from girls at school. His dad is probably the strong type that would give him good advice and keep him out of trouble. Bryce can’t wait until he finds them someday!
He wants to know if they will feel relieved when he finally meets them or if they’ll cry with happiness when they find their son. In any case, he knows there will be lots of hugs and kisses for everyone. The possibility of meeting his parents excites Bryce.
He imagines they might have a favorite food he could cook for them when they meet.
One day, maybe soon, he’ll find out more about who his parents are and how they feel about him.
The official investigation report
Investigation began when a 911 call was received from the parents of Bryce Young, they said that their son had been missing for three days and then suddenly reappeared. A search party was dispatched to find him, but he was found in the woods by himself. The parents wanted to know what happened and why he went missing for three days, but Bryce refused to answer any questions.
In his report, the responding officer noted that Bryce had difficulty following instructions and comprehending basic concepts. After further questioning by police, Bryce became agitated and hostile and refused to speak any further or answer any questions without his lawyer present.
