Do I need to buy tickets in advance?
If you are visiting Busch Gardens this Christmas, be sure to buy your tickets in advance. The theme park will be very busy and the lines can be long. You could also consider buying a holiday pack which includes tickets and a parking pass.
What are the hours of operation?
The hours of operation for Busch Gardens are as follows:
December 1-6: 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
December 7-13: 9 a.m.-8 p.m.
December 14-20: 9 a.m.-10 p.m.
Is there a minimum age requirement?
Yes, there is a minimum age requirement for all of our attractions including Busch Gardens. Children 3 years old and younger are admitted free with an accompanying adult. For those 4 years old and older, the regular admission price applies.
What are the park’s policies on strollers and large bags?
At Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, we love strollers and large bags! In fact, we encourage parents to bring their babies and toddlers along on all of our family-friendly attractions – including our rides. And, for those special occasions where you just can’t resist bringing a bit more baggage with you than usual, we’ve got you covered too!
If your stroller or large bag doesn’t fit in the single-file lines or if it creates an obstruction, please follow these simple guidelines:
-Strollers: Follow the lead of the person in front of you and place your stroller as far to the right as possible in line.
-Bags: Place your bag on the ground by your feet so that people behind you can walk over it without getting caught up in the middle. If necessary, fold your bag so that it is slightly shorter than its width and place it between your legs when walking.
What are the park’s policies on food and drinks?
Busch Gardens Tampa does not have any specific food or drink policies for guests, but does ask that all Guests follow the safety guidelines of the park. Alcoholic beverages are not allowed in any of the parks’ attractions, with the exception of Hot Cocoa stands located at select locations. All other food and drink items must be purchased from Guest Service Stations located throughout the park.
